Newcomers’s Meetings are now held in the Marlborough Public Library, 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. See listings below for specfic dates and times. We are happy that this new location is family-friendly, central to many Marlborough neighborhoods, and allows food and entertainment. Please note that the parking lot is small, so you might want to allow extra time to find a space on a nearby street if the lot gets full.

NEXT GENERAL MEETING: Monday, March 31st, 7 p.m.

Five Centuries of American Housing–On One Marlborough Street” will be the subject of a slide show presentation during the General Meeting of the Marlborough Area Newcomers and Neighbor (MANN), on Monday, March 31st at 7 p.m.. The presentation, which is open to all members of the public, will be held downstairs in the auditorium of the Marlboro Public Library. Jack Gracey, past president and current curator of the Marlborough Historical Society will chair the presentation and discuss the history of American housing, as illustrated by slides of Marlborough homes built in the 17th through the 21st centuries. Most of these homes are still on Farm Road today. Also to be discussed is the Society’s upcoming Mothers Day Tour of Historic Homes in Marlborough.

For anyone interested in joining Newcomers, half price membership of $12.00 per family is being offered this month. Parking is limited at the library, so please allow time to find a spot.
