At least one Chairperson from each committee is expected to attend the Club Business Meetings (typically held on the second Tuesday of each month). Chairpersons e-mail/hard copy general Committee information as well as specific event information to the Newsletter Editor by the Newsletter deadline each month if necessary, usually the Friday after the Business Meeting. Chairpersons also provide a sign-up sheet with event information at each General Meeting. It is recommended that the Chairperson phones the people signed up for events, a few days prior to the event.
The Club Treasurer may reimburse Chairpersons for expenses such as photocopies, supplies, and expenses for Club events (the budget for Club events must be pre-approved by the Board of Directors, usually at a monthly Business Meeting). Each Chairperson is responsible for submitting copies of receipts to the Treasurer for reimbursement.
