Chairpersons e-mail general Interest Group information as well as specific event information to the Newsletter Editor by the Newsletter deadline each month. Chairpersons also provide a sign-up sheet with event information at each General Meeting. It is recommended that the Chairperson phones the people signed up for events, a few days prior to the event. Chairpersons solicit the help of the Second Vice President when necessary. The Club Treasurer will reimburse Chairpersons for expenses such as photocopies, supplies, and expenses for Club events (the budget for Club events must be pre-approved by the Board of Directors, typically at a monthly business meeting). Each Chairperson is responsible for submitting copies of receipts to the Treasurer for reimbursement. Chairpersons pass on Interest Group information to the next year’s Chairpersons at the June Installation meeting.
